Here are the facts as we know them.  Six year old Adam Walsh went with his mother to a department store to look at some lamps.  Upon entering the store, Adam saw several boys playing video games in the toy department and asked his mom if he could play games with the boys.  His mom was going only three aisles over to the lamp department, so she said he could stay and play with the other boys.
